Terms of Use

1. The service

OwlGlance lets you view and download content from public Instagram accounts, analyze public accounts, and understand your own account from the data file Instagram gives you. It never asks for your Instagram password and never posts, likes or follows anything for you.

OwlGlance is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Instagram, LLC. We only show content that is publicly visible; private accounts stay private, and we don't try to get around that.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old. To buy a plan you must be an adult, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.

3. Acceptable use

You may use OwlGlance to look at public content, to learn about your own account, and for research, marketing or competitor analysis. You may not use it to:

• stalk, harass, threaten, dox or blackmail anyone;
• secretly monitor a partner, family member or employee without a lawful reason;
• follow the activity of anyone you know is under 18, unless you are their parent or guardian;
• re-publish, sell or claim as your own content that belongs to others (downloads are for your personal use; the content stays its owner's);
• collect data in bulk, resell it, build profiles of people, or train AI models with it;
• get around limits, the bot check or payment, reverse-engineer the service, or overload it;
• pretend to be Instagram, Meta or us;
• break any law or anyone else's rights.

We may limit, suspend or close access that breaks these rules, without refund where the misuse is serious.

4. Your account

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that email safe: anyone who can read it can sign in. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

• Some tools are free within a daily limit. Paid plans add more lookups and features, as described on the pricing page.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay; taxes may be added where the law requires.
• Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page (Manage billing). You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for; after that your account goes back to the free plan, and your saved data stays.
• If we change a price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.
• Refunds follow our refund policy.

6. Content and intellectual property

Instagram content shown on OwlGlance belongs to the people who posted it. The site itself (design, text, code and brand) belongs to us. If you believe content shown here infringes your rights, write to support@owlglance.com and we'll act on it promptly.

7. Disclaimers

OwlGlance is provided “as is”. Public data can change, disappear or be limited by Instagram at any time, so results may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable. Numbers such as engagement rates and best times to post are estimates from recent public posts.

We don't promise the service will always be available, and we aren't responsible for anything Instagram does to any account.

8. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or US$100. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where OwlGlance is registered. If something goes wrong, please write to support@owlglance.com first; most problems are solved within days. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the laws of the country where you live.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and we'll email account holders about important changes. Questions: support@owlglance.com.
